"Pathways to the Top" Series featuring Michele Jordan

Please join us for the first meeting in our 2012 Pathways to the Top Speaker Series. 
  
Our featured speaker is Michele Jordan, Vice President, Women's & Children's Program, Quality Improvement and Transformation at Rouge Valley Health System.  
 
  • Michele joined Rouge Valley Health System in March 2008 in the new role of Chief Transformation Officer. Since then, Michele's role has evolved to Vice President, Quality Improvement and Transformation with responsibility for transformation, the corporate quality and patient safety function, patient relations, performance evaluation services and the women's and children's program. Michele is also the executive lead for strategic planning and she supports the Community Advisory Group which she helped to establish.  
  • Prior to the Rouge Valley Health System, Michele was the Director of the Health Services Consulting Practice at Price Waterhouse Coopers where she led multiple large, complex engagements and client relationship teams.
  • Michele was featured in the National Film Board of Canada short film titled 'Making it' which was screened at our Conversations Cubedevent in February. 
  • Michele has a B.Sc from the University of Toronto and an MBA, Health Services Management from McMaster University

"Pathways to the Top" Series featuring Deputy Chief Peter Sloly

Mark your calendars for our second event in our Pathways to the Top Speaker Series on June 21st 2012.
 
Our featured speaker will be Deputy Chief Peter Sloly of the Toronto Police Service.
  •  Peter Sloly is in charge of Divisional Policing Command (DPC) which has 4084 police officers, 221 civilian members and a budget of $447 million. DPC includes the 17 Police Divisions, the Divisional Police Support Unit as well as being the Executive Sponsor for the $25 million IT Operating System capital project, IRIS.
  • Peter has a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from McMaster University and a Masters in Business Administration from York University's Schulich School of Business. He is a graduate of the FBI National Academy and the University of Toronto Rotman Police Executive Leadership Program.
  • Peter has authored articles for several police and justice magazines on community mobilization, crime prevention, emergency management and social media. He was an adjunct Professor at the University of Guelph-Humber and a guest lecturer at the Ontario Police College.
